DUSTIN E. USELTON

Dustin E. Uselton is an Assistant District Attorney assigned to the Gulfport Office. Dustin moved to Gulfport at an early age when his father, a member of the United States Navy, was stationed on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.

Dustin graduated from Mississippi College in 2009 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Christian Studies and Philosophy and a minor in Mathematics. He went on to earn his Juris Doctor from Mississippi College School of Law in 2013.

After graduating from law school, Dustin began his legal career in private practice before entering public service with the City of Gulfport, where he served as Assistant City Attorney and regularly assisted with prosecutorial responsibilities while working closely with local law enforcement. Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, he served as Assistant Municipal Prosecutor for the City of Gulfport, where he handled a wide range of criminal matters.

Dustin has served as an Assistant District Attorney for the Second Circuit Court District since 2024. He is assigned to the Gulfport Office, where he prosecutes felony cases in Harrison County, and is also assigned to Stone County, where he also handles criminal matters on behalf of the State.

Dustin is admitted to practice in all Mississippi state courts and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Mississippi. He is a member of the Mississippi Bar and the Mississippi Prosecutors Association.
