GEORGE PETTERMAN
assistant district attorney
George Peterman is an Assistant District Attorney assigned to the Gulfport office. A Harrison County native, George attended Mississippi College and graduated summa cum laude in 2018, receiving a Bachelor of Science in Political Science.
He continued his education at the University of Alabama School of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude in 2021. While in law school, George served as an editor on the Alabama Law Review and competed with the Trial Advocacy Competition Team, for which he received the American College of Trial Lawyers Award.
Prior to joining the District Attorney’s Office, George worked as a Law Clerk for Judge Taylor B. McNeel in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi.
