William C. “Crosby” Parker serves as the District Attorney for Mississippi’s Second Circuit Court District, overseeing the prosecution of all felony cases in Harrison, Hancock, and Stone Counties. Prior to his election as District Attorney, Parker served as Chief Assistant District Attorney, where he acted as lead trial counsel in numerous high-profile cases involving violent crime, public corruption, and sexual offenses.

Throughout his career, he has been firmly committed to the fair and consistent administration of justice, advocating for meaningful accountability while ensuring the rights of crime victims remain a central priority. Under his leadership, the Second Circuit District Attorney’s Office continues to champion victim advocacy across the district and the State of Mississippi.

Parker earned his undergraduate degree in Accountancy from Mississippi State University and his Juris Doctor from Baylor University School of Law. While at Baylor, he distinguished himself as a member of the nationally ranked moot court and mock trial teams. Following law school, Parker was commissioned as an officer in the United States Air Force Judge Advocate General’s Corps, where he served as a trial counsel at F. E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming, one of the Air Force’s busiest military justice installations.

During this assignment, he was promoted to Captain and selected to serve as a Special Assistant United States Attorney, prosecuting federal criminal cases. Parker’s military career continued with his designation as an Area Defense Counsel, supervising and defending service members assigned to RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, and installations throughout the European Command. He later concluded his active-duty service as an instructor of Military Justice, Evidence, and Advocacy at The Judge Advocate General’s School at Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, Alabama. After departing active duty in 2007, Parker joined the Mississippi Air National Guard in 2010.

He was promoted to the rank of Colonel in June of 2021 and currently serves as the Mississippi State Staff Judge Advocate for the Mississippi National Guard, assigned to Joint Forces Headquarters in Jackson, Mississippi. Over the course of his military service, Colonel Parker has received numerous awards and commendations, including multiple Meritorious Service Medals and an Air Force Commendation Medal with four devices.

Parker is married to Lauren Berry Parker of Gulfport, Mississippi. They are members of St. James Catholic Church and are the proud parents of three children: Crosby II, Cannon, and Charlie.
